I’ve been dumped

A cat called Tuna

I’ll never understand people who get pets but have no intention to keep it. Whats the point. The past two weeks we’ve had a stray cat wandering around our property, this isn’t uncommon and we make every attempt to catch these strays and find them good caring homes. As you may remember a few months ago we had some kittens we found under a garage on a foreclosed property. Those kittens have since found homes and I get regular updates on two of them(who should I add live with a great pyr/lab mix).

Today we finally caught the stray thats been hanging around. She’s a starving bag of bones, but very friendly. If she didn’t have a winter coat on you’d more than likely see every bone in her body. She’s apparently young and more than likely intact. She was so hungry she chewed the tin can of cat food in the live trap.

It’s disgusting, she’s a friendly cat and appears as though someone dumped her in the woods, she sure as heck doesn’t have someone who gives a (fill in the blank) about her, if she did she’d have some meat on her bones. This little kitty lucked out and landed in the right trap however. She may be staying to live as quail house rodent control. Or at least going to the humane society to find someone who wont ditch her. In the mean time she’ll have food, warmth and a soft bed.

Okay rant over.

  1. All of my kitties when I was a kid was rescued strays. On even had a metal plate in her head that someone paid a lot of money for. Don’t know how she ended up lost. Glad she did though 🙂
